Amidst the hype of the upcoming L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival quietly lies Shed Some Light –an exhibition which aims to showcase the reverse side to the glitz and glam of the fashion world.

The Shed Some Light exhibition is comprised of five young and upcoming Melbourne photographers, who have independently pieced together this fashion and portraiture showcase that cuts through glossy facades taking a very raw approach to the subject.

Artists Agnieszka Chabros, Amie Milne, Ben Clement, Michelle Dylan Huynh and Michael Thomas- while all young and emerging in the field have already proved themselves in the eyes of the industry thus far. With work collectively spanning across contemporary fashion and music mediums, not only in Australia, but worldwide such as Elle, Fashion Gone Rogue, SYN, Papercut and Creem.

Support these talented Melbournians alongside Melbourne DJ Edd Fisher, by joining them at the opening night of Shed Some Light at Paradise hills next Friday, 15th of March.
